My interests concentrate at the intersection of rule-governed systems: distributed backends engineered for fault tolerance, statistical inference over decades of market data, and the regulatory architecture of financial technology — the constraint layer most engineers treat as noise and I treat as signal. The overwhelming majority of my hypotheses do not survive out-of-sample validation; the mortality is documented, numbered, and published as a working-note series.
The unifying discipline is epistemic: pre-registered criteria, adversarial self-scrutiny, and a standing refusal to mistake in-sample fit for knowledge — whether the substrate is code, probability, or the fine print of regulation. This site is the canonical index of that output, and the one link that replaces LinkedIn.
